Project Update

I have several projects coming up:

1. Wishing Princess. Got stuck on illustration. I'll see what I can do.

2. I started playing chess daily. Maybe it's a good idea to collect them into a book. I'm extremely rusty.

3. Interactive Fiction. This is a very exciting field, technologically speaking. Unfortunately, the text only version is niche. So, if I want to make money doing it, I need to at least include graphics. So, either Visual Novel, or Illustrated CYOA. I don't know about Kinetic Novel, aka Visual Novel without the branching.

4. Coding Projects. I will be writing my own computer programs for my graphic needs. No more Adobe since they go subscription model. Ask Linus Sebastian how painful that can be.

5. And if I have time left, maybe some kind of Novella/Light Novel production. The Espresso Printshop is only the size of a desk. I can get it much cheaper if I'm willing to do the process manually. The big things that I need are guillotine cutter, perfect binding machine, and laminator for cover. The rest is standard office equipment. Total cost should be around $10,000 as compared to Espresso machine at $75,000 - $120,000.

The fact that POD technology means that you can order books as small as 200 units is a blessing. It used to be that anything less than 3,000 units is a losing money activity. Yeah, I am confident that I can at least distribute around 500 copies to various people.
